The term NPU gets thrown around a lot (for those new here it stands for “Nice Part Use”) but I think it’s deserved here. The towers of this clever little castle are pip shooters, which pack a lot of detail into a small space. With some clever building and a handful of carefully selected parts, Alego37 has crafted a charming castle that defies it’s scale. Original linkOriginal author: Tommy
Although Battlefront II was not the most acclaimed game of 2017 and has caused many to go to the dark side with their hatred towards EA (Master Yoda warned us!), it is one of the most visually stunning games I have ever seen, and the same can be said about this MOC by First Order Lego. The chaos and scale do justice to the game and the textures make it hard for me to take my eyes off this diorama. I would highly recommend checking out the other shots of this beautifully detailed MOC! Original linkOriginal author: Andrew Eden
So you’re out with the family enjoying some water sports and you have so many questions. Is this a human-made reservoir? What kind of bird is that? Can I fish here? Was that a crocodile or alligator that just ate Timmy? Lucky for you there’s an info center right here on the water’s edge thanks to builder Brickisme. Original linkOriginal author: Tommy
Don’t you sometimes feel the urge to speed across a desert planet, leaving a trail of alien dust behind you? If so, this speeder by David Roberts 01341 is perfect for you! This massive turbine speeder bike looks like it was pulled straight off a podracer. But knowing podracing, it is safe to assume that this speeder will be stolen to make a podracer instead! Just remember, what happens in the Outer Rim stays in the Outer Rim. Original linkOriginal author: Andrew Eden
I’m a sucker for a real-world creation, especially one as well executed as this one from builder legoloverman. The thin lines were achieved through the clever use of hinges, and the spiral binding with hoop blades. My favorite detail is more subtle though, and perfectly appropriate, that’s Eraser’s head on the end of the pencil there. Original linkOriginal author: Tommy
