LEGO Coral Reef Diorama (40783) Review

The LEGO Coral Reef Diorama (40783) is now available as a gift with purchase set on the LEGO Shop. The set has 260 pieces and you can get it with purchases of $150. This is the second of four for the Wonders of Nature line of GWPs for this year.

The coral reef sits on a tan base ocean floor with an underwater cave area in the back. There’s a number of vibrant colored plant life filling the whole ocean floor as well as on top of the cave.

Also included are some marine life such as a starfish in the front, a school of blue fish, some orange fish around the back, and a jellyfish that uses a glow-in-the-dark piece for the tentacles.

Overall the LEGO Coral Reef Diorama (40783) follows the formula of using small 1-2 piece builds to create a whole scene. When you look at it as a whole, it is very pretty and your eyes take you to different directions with all the dynamic colors. The glow-in-the-dark jellyfish isn’t need but it was nice of LEGO to throw in. As of this post, you only have a few days left to get your orders in for this GWP.

Thank you to LEGO for sending in this set for me to review. The content above represents my own opinion and not the company. Review sets sent in does not guarantee a positive review.
