The Imperial AT-ST scout walker is secure in the S-tier of all-time great Star Wars vehicles and frequently shows up in official LEGO sets and fan creations. It’s been 18 years since the beloved “chicken walker” received the UCS treatment, making it prime time for a remake with modern techniques and parts. Carl Greatrix took on this challenge and created perhaps the most screen accurate AT-ST we’ve ever seen in LEGO. The legs, side-mounted cannons, and especially the rear, feature just the right amount of greebling (the decorative bits of tubes and texture that give Star Wars vehicles that gritty garage aesthetic). A few judiciously applied custom decals push the accuracy to the next level. Perhaps most impressively, Carl engineered the legs with enough strength to balance this notoriously tricky top-heavy design without support. Carl is no stranger to building screen vehicles in incredible detail as he works as a senior...
A few weeks ago during the Paris Olympics, we reported that Rugby bronze medallist Sammy Sullivan is a huge LEGO fan and there’s a happy update to this story. It looks like LEGO has finally given her a shout out as well as some big surprises which includes a framed LEGO minifigure poster of her as well as the LEGO icons Eiffel Tower (10307) that she has been eyeing. You can just see the joy that Sammy has on her face when she pulls out the items after making a mess. “Whatever your dreams are in life, you can achieve them.” View this post on Instagram A post shared by Sammy Sullivan OLY (@sam_sull_) … Continue The post LEGO Surprises Rugby Olympian Sammy Sullivan appeared first on The Brick Fan. Following the LEGO Harry Potter Borgin and Burkes: Floo Network (40690), LEGO has revealed another gift with purchase set with the Collectible Weasley Clock (5009008). There’s so information yet on how to get it but but I’m guessing it’ll be part of The Burrow – Collectors’ Edition (76437) whenever it releases. Just like in Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets, the clock shows where each of the family member is at. From The Burrow’s living room to a Harry Potter fan’s home: the Collectible Weasley Clock. As Harry Potter once said of the real Weasley Clock, this magical room decor is useless for telling the time but otherwise very informative! The clockface has a spinning center to point at one of the possible locations: ’Home’, ’School’, ’Work’, ’Traveling’, ’Lost’, ’Hospital’, ’Prison’ and ’Mortal Peril’. This LEGO® Harry Potter ornament makes a cool gift for girls, boys and fans aged 6...
